Between Omega-3 and Omega-6 Must be balanced
Fatty acids Omega-3 and omega-6 has a function related. These two fatty acids that work together to nourish the skin, nails, hair, hormones, can relieve asthma symptoms and also prevent damage to cells for people with cancer.
That Benefits we can get if the ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 balance. On this the experts have different opinions. Some say 2.5 to 1, the rate of 2.5 for the omega-6 and number 1 for the omega-3. Others say 4 to 1.
Though destined to be but actually complement each other omega-3 and omega-6 compete with each other. Suspected cause of inflation is caused by the omega-6, while omega-3 is believed to prevent inflation.
Omega-3 can only be obtained from sources that are outside the body such as:
1. Greens
Beans and potatoes are also included in the greens. Omega-3 in the form of vegetables such as: alpha linolenic acid (ALA). Alpha linolenic acid in our bodies will be converted into EPA and DHA.
2. Organic Meat
Organic meat is better at getting from cows that eat grass to produce meat, milk and cheese, than cows fed the plant or corn. Similarly, chickens fed a mixture of green vegetables.
3. Fish.
If your diet low in omega-6 then consumes two servings of fish a week is enough. But if your diet high in omega-6 you should consume more than 2 servings of fish and reproduce eat vegetables.
While there are several steps to reduce omega-6, namely:
1. you can replace the regular cereal with a cereal containing flaxseed.
2. You should avoid junk food, junk food because it is usually very high in omega-6
3. Choose the potato chips fried in canola oil, not fried by using ordinary cooking oil.
4. You should avoid margarine.
5. You can multiply to consume walnuts.
6. Better get used to check the labels before buying food packaging.
7. You should consume sea fish than freshwater fish cultivation, because in general cultivation of freshwater fish was fed processed corn or soybeans.
