Beware of Sugar Supplement

When you eat some food or drink every so often someone is not aware of the amount of added sugar in the food or drink. Added sugar is the main factor that led to the emergence of obesity and other health problems.

To avoid obesity or other health problems, should we need to avoid all kinds of sugar? It feels no need to avoid any type of sugar. Naturally sugar found in all kinds of healthy foods although the substance is added to the variety of foods and other beverages.

Foods that have a very high sugar content did not have the Benefits for the body, unless the added calories they sometimes have a low nutritional value. In all types of sugars either natural or synthetic is a simple carbohydrate that can be used by the body as energy. In general, additional sugar can be found in many foods that contain fat solids.

U.S. Department of Agriculture in 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans States has recommended that only 5-15 percent of added sugar plus solid fat of total daily calories can be consumed. This can apply to anyone who lives anywhere not just the Americans.

Here are some tips if you want to reduce added sugar in the daily menu.
- Reduce non diet sodas.
- Limit your intake of sweets and chewing gum.
- Choose a cereal with caution. Cereals can contain added sugar.
- For dessert, choose fresh fruit instead of cakes, biscuits, pies, and other sweet foods.
- For canned fruit, choose which is soaked in water or juice, not syrup.
- Familiarize your children drink more milk or water and reduce fruit juice and other fruit drinks.
- Reduce food supplements that contain lots of sugar, such as syrup, jams, and jellies.
- Be careful when eating dessert made from milk, such as ice cream and sweet yogurt.
- Avoid sweet tea and coffee mixed with syrup, sugar, and other toppings taste sweet.
- Identify what is included in additional sugar.
