For people with diabetes, there is no other tool which is considered accurate to calculate the levels of sugar in the blood sugar level measuring device other than the use of blood droplets. Of course this way feels uncomfortable, especially for those who need to check blood sugar levels but not diabetes.
The doctors and scientists around the world have been trying hard to find an alternative that is more convenient to use. Currently, it has been found to gauge blood sugar levels that do not use blood, but tears. Researchers from the University of Michigan have using the sensors on these gauges to detect levels of a solution of sugar or glucose in tears.
Tests carried out to the 12 rabbits found that the level of blood sugar in tears correlated with levels of glucose in the blood. It becomes a reference point researchers to find gauges blood sugar levels without using blood.
American Diabetes Association account for approximately 25.8 million people in America suffers from diabetes, but 7 million of them undiagnosed.
