Chemotherapy Drugs, New Hope for Breast Cancer patients

There is a new hope in treating patients with breast cancer with fewer side effects by using a chemotherapy drugs. This was stated on October 26 in a report published by the journal Science Translational Medicine. This report is based on the results of research conducted by scientists at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, Baltimore, United States of more than 17 women with breast cancer.

This research was conducted by using a new method of incorporating chemotherapy drugs directly through the patient’s nipple, and has given positive results in drug effectiveness against tumors early levels, pre-cancerous cells, and did not give any negative impacts such as those often produced in the methods of previous chemotherapy.
