“Clinophobia”, is a phobia in Sleep

Has been long asleep already become part of human life. An estimated one third of human life is spent sleeping. If we live up to the age of 78 years then it is time that we use to sleep is 26 years old.

However, there are also some people who are phobic during sleep or often known as Clinophobia. Clinophobia derived from Greek, meaning klinein folded, ramps or ramp that occurs during sleep, while Phobos means fear.

Clinophobia also called somniphobia which means excessive fear during sleep. Someone who experience fear during sleep or what can happen when he is sleeping. Perhaps the fear of nightmares, fear of incontinence or fear of breathing will stops during sleep. There are also some Clinophobia people who say they would die during sleep due to sleep like a person who has died.

Symptoms Clinophobia on each person will be different but most will try to avoid sleep, but some are able to sleep and wake up several times a night due to feeling uncomfortable. In general, when forced to sleep they will feel panic, chest pounding or shaking.

Sleep has a very important function in human health, so if a course will Clinophobia impaired body functions such as drowsiness, fatigue, do not focus even be susceptible to disease. To help eliminate excessive fear of this kind in general relaxation techniques, meditation and hypnotherapy also are very helpful.
