Drinking Orange Juice Can Increase the Risk of Uric Acid

The study was carried out by following the diet than 80,000 women for 22 years. Those who drank two glasses of orange juice every day will have a risk of 40 percent exposed to uric acid. While those who consume these drinks more than twice a day will have a risk 2.4 times greater. Beverage cans that contain high sugar content like soft drinks, also has the risk of uric acid is quite high at around 70 percent. Therefore, some researchers recommend for fans of sweet drinks for reducing the habit.
In order to avoid the disease of uric acid are strongly advised to reduce foods that contain lots of purine compounds such as spinach, kale, cauliflower, mushrooms asparagus, meat, sardines, crab, shrimp and peanuts. Besides the food factor, increased production of uric acid in the blood can also be caused by blood diseases such as bone marrow disease, polycythemia, the influence of drugs such as alcohol, anti-cancer drugs, vitamin B12, and also several other causes such as obesity, and some skin diseases.
