Early Detect Prostate Cancer
Prostate Cancer is the most frightening diseases for men, because, prostate cancer is second cause of death for men after lung cancer. The disease attacks the male sex organs. Then how to detect early prostate cancer symptoms?
Some scientists from Bristol University have successfully identified two types of proteins found in high levels in the body of a man with prostate cancer; this is quoted from the old Telegraph. These proteins will develop in organs and tissues, especially when still in the womb and in infancy. The study was conducted by comparing the protein levels in 2686 men with prostate cancer and 2766 healthy men.
A cancer epidemiologist, Dr. Mari-Anne Rowlands, said it was too early to conclude that the protein is the only cause of prostate cancer cell growth. However, it has been shown that the possibility to identify new bio-markers that could potentially be an early sign of prostate cancer.
The research results were presented at the National Cancer Research Institute conference in Liverpool. In earlier, researchers in Britain have said that the possibility of early detection of prostate cancer is done through urine testing. This is done to identify the genetic risk of prostate cancer in men.
