Ginger Can Reduce Swelling and Muscle Pain
Ginger is included in the nutritious and medicinal plants as well as cooking seasonings. One of benefits that most famous is ginger so warm ginger is often mixed into drinks.
Ginger is known to contain natural pain killer that many people use ginger oil as a pain reliever and is also swollen.
Research shows that ginger contains anti-inflammatory compounds and volatile oils that have the effect of analgesics and pain relievers. And it has been demonstrated in experimental animal research.
Recently, the scientists try to find out the benefits of ginger in humans. The study was conducted of 74 adults. All respondents were asked to perform sports activity, to trigger muscle pain and inflammation (inflammation).
Over the past 11 days, the study participants were asked to consume two grams of ginger and the rest got a placebo. Ginger is consumed a day after the exercise.
Interestingly, the group of participants who received ginger mentions sore muscles and pain experienced reduced by 25 percent, especially 24 hours after exercise. The respondents also said that experienced swelling decreases.
This contrasts with the results of previous studies that say eating ginger before exercise had no effect on muscle soreness and oxygen consumption during exercise.
