Infant Mortality Can Make a Broken Heart

Prolonged grief due to death of a newborn child can lead to an endless sense of loss. Feelings of grief can lead to heartbreak and even shorten the life of people who experience it.
Sense of a broken heart is a natural thing experienced by anyone who left their beloved ones. In a study conducted in England, the deep grief of parents who lost her new baby will increase the risk of death within 10 years after the death of the baby.
The researchers compared the impact of infant mortality in parents who lost their babies within the first year or babies who died because of miscarriage, with parents whose infants survive more than a year old.
The result is known parents who lost her baby four times higher risk of dying within a period of 10 years after the death of a baby. The biggest impact of the loss is especially felt by the mother. The impact of grief will be reduced from time to time.
Unfortunately the study does not mention the cause of death of both parents, but allegedly associated with alcohol abuse or suicide because of depression is left untreated.
