Milk is very useful as health supporting nutrients but lately milk began to doubt with a lot of myths about milk, one of which is cancer. Is it true that myth?

This myth started from 1993 on when the FDA approved the animal husbandry department in America to use your growth hormone (rBGH) in cattle. Practices that cause the milk production increased rapidly resulting in reduced milk prices. It caused controversy because rBGH will increase the concentration of insulin-like growth factor (IGF), which causes hormone-related cancer in the milk increases.

But this is far different from a steroid hormone taken orally, rBGH and IGH injected to be able to feel its effects. And it is a digestive process that will destroy this protein hormone. Therefore, drinking milk from dairy cows that were given hormone will not transfer the active chemicals into the body. In other words cow’s milk from dairy cows that were fed hormone rBGH and IGF will not cause cancer.

Nevertheless, the ethical problem caused by hormone in cattle has been banned. Some researchers from Canada also said that the cows are given hormones will be more susceptible to mastitis infection.

How about antibiotics in animal feed? There is an opinion that the antibiotics that exist in the body of cattle will settle in milk and meat. Therefore, when consumed in a long time will cause those who consume beef will become resistant to antibiotics.

About it yet scientists can not confirm because no study can prove to be correct. So if you are unsure of the issue of antibiotics is, at present has no organic dairy products are sold free of hormones and antibiotics in the market although the price is quite expensive.
