Marijuana can be used as Medicine
Cannabis or marijuana has long been used by humans as a drug. However, since the 20th century that one plant is classified as an illegal drug by many countries. But in the last two decades, there has been pressure for legalizing marijuana for medical purposes.
In early December 2010 yesterday, Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christine has issued a decision that cannabis will be sold in the market as a drug for patients with severe disease. Then step was followed by 14 states in the United States which had already legalized marijuana as medicine.
Although these regulations conflict with central government regulations, but according to a poll 46 percent of the people of the United States really wants legalization of marijuana. In some European countries have legalized marijuana as a medicine and has been sold at various pharmacies with a prescription.
However, although as a drug, marijuana still has many limitations. Like, marijuana was used as a last therapy if it has been doing other types of treatment therapy. In New Jersey, United States also has made the drug prohibition of marijuana for patients with seizure conditions, glaucoma and muscle spasms. And not all pharmacies to sell drugs, the government limit the number of pharmacies that can sell the marijuana in one region.
In order to ensure there is no abuse, the U.S. government has implemented a policy of outright purchase and does not serve the message across and also limiting the dose that can be purchased by one patient.
