The results of a study in Edinburg, Texas, United States, suggest that the missing wallet is returned by its inventors because it is not moral, but rather closely related to evolution.

To resolve this problem, a psychologist, Richard Wiseman along with his team has trying to deploy hundreds of wallets that are placed in the streets around Edinburgh to give a different picture in the wallet, including baby pictures, happy family, lovers, and pets. Some purses are left without a photo, but it included evidence donation card.

The result, 9 out of 10 wallets filled with baby pictures returned by the inventor; whereas only 1 of 7 purses that no photographs were returned. According to Dr. Wiseman, the results of this study indicate a person’s desire to preserve the young generation. Genetic code involves feelings of empathy are not confined to children alone, but on all children.

So, if you want to return a lost wallet, keep photos of your child, nephew or your photos as a child in the wallet.
