Playing Is Part of Learning
Perhaps you often think that learning can only be done in the classroom or by flipping through a book, play activities proved very useful to develop the entire capacity of the child. In the first three years of age a child has about 70% of brain development that is optimized to play.
However, it is unfortunate that many parents perceive that one play activity. For some parents play is physical activity so that the entertainment is often not considered important. However, according to research, children’s play time has decreased by 40% in 1980 and to 25% in 1990.
Although there is no doubt that in reality many parents prefer their children to study or rest than play. This is caused by the high expectations of parents on children to excel in academic fields and do not realize that the pressure in children.
At this time the parents have to fight with the trend of children is learned from childhood. Activity play is as important as education. During play a child can also learn through trial and error so that will have real-world experience. Playing does not always have to use the tool, but they are very fond of children toys. In choosing toys for children there are some clues that can be used such as whether the toy can be used or whether the toy is in conformity with the stages of child development.
