Some expectant mothers now prefer to perform Caesarean section for delivery, although not having problems during pregnancy. The expectant mothers are more to choose Caesarean section due to fear of pain if necessary to give birth normally, partly because their doctors adjust schedules, and the remainder to select the date for the birth of her baby.

Caesarean section is not actually playing procedure. There is a lot of risk that you will receive when undergoing this procedure. Therefore, we recommend that before you decide to undergo a Caesarean section you need to consider a few things below.

1. Caesar is a major operation.
Some people who thought that Caesarean section is a simple procedure and does not have a major risk factor. However, actual delivery is Caesar will bring many risks ranging from infection, would reduce the function of the intestine, increasing the risk hysterectomy, until on urination disorders caused by damage to the content of urine.

2. Require a longer recovery time.
Many people who describe that Caesarean section are the easiest option for childbirth. But the process of wound healing and uterine surgery will require considerable time when compared with normal deliveries that require a period of 6 weeks for recovery. A few weeks after childbirth in general, women who undergo childbirth Caesar would often feel uncomfortable, painful, even had to take drugs to relieve pain.

3. Delivery time that is not appropriate.
Some studies say that the Caesarean section performed before 39 weeks of pregnancy can increase the risk of premature birth. This is due to inaccuracies in predicting the date of birth. A baby born at 37 weeks gestational age wills double the risk of complications than those born after 39 weeks.

4. Babies will experience difficulty breathing.
From studies conducted by The American Academy of Family Physicians in 2007 has shown that an increased risk of breathing difficulties and a longer period of treatment in babies born through Caesarean section. This has been proved that in some cases, babies have probably not yet ready to be born, and will cause respiratory problems.

5. Increased placenta problems.
A mother who gave birth to a Caesar would have the risk of placental problems in subsequent pregnancies. And one of the most dangerous conditions in this problem is Accrete Placenta. The placenta will grow into the uterine wall which will require a hysterectomy. This risk will increase by 0.6 percent in the second Caesarean section, 2.1 percent in the third Caesarean and will increase on each procedure Caesar after wards.

6. Will be fewer good bacteria.
At the time of vaginal delivery, usually the baby will be exposed to the bacteria that live in the vagina of a mother. Exposure to these bacteria is an important process in helping to improve baby’s immune system. If the baby is born through surgery it will be exposed to little good bacteria. Here to note the existence of residual bacterial infection staphylococcus and streptococcus pneumonia, this can cause pneumonia.

7. It could save the life of a baby.
During pregnancy you may experience problems and Caesarean section is sometimes medically necessary. Even this procedure can save lives of infants and mothers. One is the condition of placenta previa, where the placenta to close the birth canal; cord prolapse of the umbilical cord precedes the baby out of the womb and who have difficulties to birth.
