About 80 percent of people must have felt the pain in the waist in a single episode of life. Problem of low back pain, which became part of spinal pain, is a major health problem, especially, in the productive age.

Complaints that often occur from a variety of disorders of the spine in general are low back pain. Spinal pain can also be associated with tumors, although relatively small at around 0.7 percent. Human spine is a vital organ as it works to sustain weight loss, which includes bone neck (cervical), the middle back (thoracic), and lower back.

People with spinal problems in the productive age in general were not more than 45 years. Disorders of the spine can lead to high absenteeism, frequent visits to the doctor, and the highest cause of disability that affects work productivity.

Risk factors for spinal pain include obesity. Excess weight, especially on the belly will force the body to form an unhealthy posture (excessive pressure to the spine) to overcome gravity.

Other risk factors are repetitive heavy lifting, bending, excessive motion, and use the tool with vibration. Static posture, for example, sitting too long is also a major risk factor. Another thing that can increase the risk of spinal disorders is genetic, such as collagen fibers are weak and psychological factors.

Prevention

Prevention can be done by understanding the mechanism of injury, trigger, and correct posture. Posture is not good to give the load on the spine.

Handling of spinal problems also do not all require surgery? In fact, surgery is the last option in the management of spinal problems, in general, about 5-10 percent of the required surgery. Disorders of the spine should not be taken lightly, if any complaint should be checked for the condition from getting worse
