This movement is done after the site Which? Has revealed the presence of illegal sales of teeth whitening products are widely available on websites such famous.

Which? Sites Is a Consumer Protection Association, conducted the survey of the public to learn about their experiences after using teeth whitening products purchased on the internet. There are 28% of respondents expressed dissatisfaction, where 3 of 5 respondents complained of side effects that last long enough until a few days. In addition, 9% of respondents had white patches on the gums and lips, which is a sign of irritation due to chemicals.

Teeth whitening products withdrawn from sale at the leading internet site contains hydrogen peroxide with levels more than 0.1%. Stuart Johnson of the British Dental Association said that Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) high doses can burn the outer layer of the mouth, if the current application to not use special protective gear. These findings have been forwarded to the “Trading Standards”, and online retailers continue urged not to sell teeth whitening products are potentially harmful to consumers.
