Urine, color and aroma Secrets Behind

UrineBy the time you are urinating, have you ever watched your urine is a waste product? Is there a color change in your urine, for example, to yellow, dark yellow, white, or maybe red? Why is urine we always change the color? Do you know what caused it? Lauren A Bumby, MD a physician in London says the secret of what really goes on behind your urine.

Urine Color
The color of urine will provide a picture of your health conditions, particularly levels of adequacy of fluid in your body. The lighter the color of urine indicates that you are healthier than if you are dark-colored urine. When the color changed to dark urine (the color of iced tea), it means you’re dehydrated and your kidneys are not in good condition. Urine became dark when you are dehydrated because the kidneys regulate the water balance is included in our bodies. To correct that condition, we should drink more water because dehydration lowers the production of our urine. Urine color that signifies us healthy is pale yellow.

Urine frequency and control
Often whether or not we urinate have a different meaning. Too frequent urination indicates we are experiencing health problems such as diabetes, or drinking too much caffeine and alcohol. However, an increased frequency of bowel movements can also occur because of pregnancy. The process of natural childbirth can weaken pelvic floor muscles that control urine flow.

Another common problem is loss of bladder control when we cough, sneeze, or laugh. This also happens because of weakening of the pelvic floor muscles. To strengthen the back muscles, you can try Kegel exercises to improve bladder control.

Urine Odor
Try to remember, what food these days you eat often. Therefore, changes in urine odor are generally caused by changes in our food. For example, asparagus is usually causing an unusual odor. However, changes in the smell is not dangerous, unless followed by symptoms such as frequency increases, cannot be arrested, or feels hot and painful. Immediately consult a doctor if these symptoms you feel.

To watch
There are several things that indicate serious health problems (such as renal dysfunction or urinary bladder disease) is the emergence of blood in the urine, the urine color, such as tea consistently, pain during urination, the sharp smell of urine, and excessive urination.

To improve the condition of the bladder you should try to consume plenty of fruits and vegetables drinking enough water, exercise and maintaining normal weight and healthy. Drink water as much as 8 glasses per day, but less or more than eight glasses may occur due to diet, activity level and weight. Most importantly, always look for the color of urine. Do not feel thirsty because this is a sign that you are dehydrated.
