Vitamin D deficiency in pregnant women

A study in the United States showed that many pregnant women who still lack of vitamin D. Although vitamin D intake and the dose increased during pregnancy, but research has shown that high doses of vitamin D intake is needed for women.

American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, never publish that about 70 percent of women in the United States of deficiency of vitamin D. Almost all women from every race and from various regions have a very high risk of vitamin D.

Vitamin D is necessary during pregnancy to help increase levels of vitamin D, but most women will consume vitamin D after caught pregnant. Vitamin D would be better to consume a few months before becoming pregnant in order to maximize the usefulness of vitamin D for healthy pregnant women.

In pregnant women, vitamin D is very important nutrients during pregnancy and specifically for baby’s health in general. Vitamin D deficiency can lead to increased respiratory infection for the baby. In adult, vitamin D deficiency will be associated with heart and blood vessel disease and some cancers.
