Vitamin E May Increase Risk of Stroke Attack

There is very shocking news that came from a research report and published in the British Medical Journal about the relationship between vitamin E with stroke. In the journal it is said that taking vitamin E supplements can increase the risk of stroke.

Some scientists from France, Germany and America have also analyzed the nine researches which has involved 119,000 people. And they have found that in every 1,250 people will have the risk of stroke or bleeding in the brain called with haemorrhagic stroke. But not yet known how many levels of vitamin E is harmful.

Haemorrhagic stroke is one of the most common types of stroke. In general, these attacks only occur when blood vessels that supply blood to the brain is broken so that the brain does not get enough oxygen. The experts also revealed that vitamin E would increase the risk of stroke by 22 percent.

Although vitamin E so it can reduce the risk of ischemic stroke by 10 percent. Ischemic stroke occurs only in the event of blockage of blood vessels that carry oxygen to the brain. The experts also say that making lifestyle changes and keeping cholesterol levels and blood pressure remained normal so much better for preventing stroke than taking vitamin E.
