What is an Alcoholic?
Alcoholics are the designation for people with alcohol abuse and dependence. This term maybe less precise but technically and medically it might be more easily understood.
Alcohol abuse means having hazardous alcohol drinking habits, such as drunken everyday or drink in large quantities each time. Alcohol abuse can damage social relations patient. This causes the patient will lose their jobs and may conflict or deal with legal issues. If this abuse continues it will lead to continuous is alcohol dependence.
In addition to knowledge, the doctors in the U.S. only allows women drink 3 sips a drinker 7 sips of the week with standard (a bottle of beer, 1 glass of wine, or an alcohol mixture). As for men, 4 gulp drink or 14 in a week.
Symptoms of alcoholism
In general, doctors will examine the health of the patient if found clinical symptoms. It also will know the mental patient, whether a depression or not.

Treatment for alcoholics depends on how bad the effect of alcohol for patients. But what especially in the treatment of alcoholics is the awareness to reduce or stop drinking alcohol altogether.
